The leading producer of homeland security training, education and awareness programming delivers important public service announcement for rail passengers. Burke, Virginia (PRWEB) - Homeland Security Television (HSTV) today announced a new major programming win to produce the first in a series of public service announcements on behalf of the AMATRAK Police Department. HSTV recently delivered to AMTRAK a security overview video, which will be played throughout stations in all of the major markets served by the passenger rail company. The purpose of the new video is to inform passengers about the multitude of security enhancements that AMTRAK has undertaken in response to the ongoing threat of terrorism, and to alleviate the concerns some may have when they see an increase in police presence. "HSTV is honored to have been selected by AMTRAK to produce this very important public service announcement," said Dan Verton, HSTV's founder and executive producer. "AMTRAK has really taken a leadership position in the transportation sector when it comes to homeland security, and we're very proud of the confidence they have shown in HSTV's production expertise and abilities." This first PSA video includes exclusive interviews with AMTRAK's Chief of Police, as well as members of the canine and special operations programs, and demonstrates HSTV's 3-D animation capability and support for the hearing impaired. The PSA project comes on the heels of another high-visibility video produced by HSTV in support of the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver. |
